For cleaning and maintenance of handrails, a neutral household detergent should be used to remove excess anti-aging wax exuding on the surface of the handrails, restore the original gloss of the rubber, and effectively remove dust, dirt, and oil stains.

Step 1: Routine cleaning;

Use a clean cloth to dip an appropriate amount of neutral detergent or spray directly on the handrail with a sprayer, and evenly wipe the entire surface of the handrail, including the underside of the handrail, and then wipe off excess detergent. Clean the surface of the handrail with a rag, and then wipe the surface with a dry rag.

Step 2: Remaining stubborn stains;

For handrails with stubborn stains, it is recommended to wipe it repeatedly with a soft nylon hygienic cloth moistened with a neutral detergent. The wiping process is the same as the first step.

Note: Excessive scrubbing may damage the surface of the handrail.

Step 3: Clean the handrails inside the escalator

Turn the handrail of the escalator until the entire handrail is cleaned.

Note: Before cleaning the surface of the handrail, you should first remove the dust in the escalator guide, so the cleaning effect is better.

① Do not use acidic, alkaline or abrasive cleaning agents, they will damage the rubber surface of the handrail

② It is strictly forbidden to use solvent substances to clean the surface of the handrail. If it is necessary to remove the stubborn dirt on the surface, only low-level solvent cleaners should be used under the guidance of relevant personnel, so as not to damage the surface rubber of the handrail.
